The father of a missing 7-month-old was seen helping authorities search for the child's body in a rural area in San Bernardino County California on Sunday.
Jake Haro and his wife, Rebecca Haro, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, just over a week after they had reported the child missing. Rebecca Haro initially told police that she was in a parking lot loading her car when she was attacked on Aug. 14 and the baby, Emmanuel Haro, was taken.

However, last week the police released a statement casting doubt on Rebecca's story. "Rebecca was confronted with inconsistencies in her initial statement and declined to continue with the interview. At this point in the investigation, investigators are unable to rule out foul play in the disappearance of Emmanuel," police stated last week.
Also, Jake Haro had pleaded guilty to a willful cruelty to a child charge in 2018 and served six months in jail. The newspaper also reported that last June, Haro faced two new charges for owning or possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.
Just days after the couple was arrested on Friday, a KABC video showed Jake Haro with police in a rural area wearing an orange jumpsuit. The station reported that police brought cadaver dogs to the location to assist in the apparent search for Emmanuel Haro's body.
"The search has concluded, and Emmanuel was not located," the sheriff's department said in a statement to KABC. "The investigation to find Emmanuel continues."
