'Bikers Against Child Abuse' Leader Arrested for Alleged Child Sexual Abuse

The vice president of the Buffalo, New York, chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse, was arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.

Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is a nonprofit organization committed to helping children who have been victims of abuse, offering a hotline and support through its network of motorcycle enthusiasts.

The group's mission is to create a safer environment for children and empower them to feel confident and secure in their daily lives. However, John C. Todaro's arrest has put the organization's reputation in jeopardy, as authorities allege he was involved in activities that starkly contradict the group's core values.

On April 9, 2025, Todaro, 49, was arrested after an investigation by the New York State Police, specifically the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The investigation allegedly found evidence of Todaro possessing and distributing child pornography.

Todaro is facing two felony charges for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.

Todaro was arraigned in Amherst court and released on his own recognizance, with his next court date scheduled for May 2025.
