A TikTok sensation with over 8 million followers is now at the center of a chilling murder investigation that has left Louisiana police baffled.

Terryon Thomas, known online as Mr. Prada, had been previously named as a person of interest in the murder of William Nicholas Abraham, 69, whose body was found in a tarp that had been dumped off a highway in Baton Rouge on Sunday, according to WAFB.

A motive for the brutal crime remains unclear, but Tangipahoa Sheriff Gerald Sticker revealed that it was a very physical and very violent attack, adding that the victim was bludgeoned about in the head, shoulders, and neck and suffered excessive bruising.

"Right now we have no inclination as to where this originated," the sheriff said, according to WWLTV.

Thomas, 20, reportedly has a history of disturbing behavior and was last seen driving the therapist's vehicle as he fled from officers during a traffic stop.

He has yet to be charged in the therapist's death, which authorities say was caused by blunt force trauma.

Terryon Thomas was taken in to custody Tuesday, according to WAFB.

TikTok users are bringing attention to several concerning posts by "Mr. Prada."

In one video, Thomas says, "I'm bipolar... ya'll never seen anybody that's bipolar before?" and "I was trying to hide it, but it just slipped out."

Other videos show him erratically shaving his head on one side and telling his more than 4 million TikTok followers, "Life is a prison; get me the f*** out."

Thomas reportedly refused to take direction from the officer conducting the traffic stop. Instead, he back into the police car and fled on foot while officers recovered the vehicle that Thomas had stolen from the victim.

East Baton Rouge Parish court records obtained by WWL state Abraham was previously arrested in 2015 for allegedly inappropriately touching an 11-year-old boy during a therapy session.

While he was never charged in the incident, Sticker said he is focusing on where the therapist was killed.

Police have since released video footage capturing Thomas on surveillance as he remains on the run.
