Authorities are searching for a Texas woman who allegedly posed as a fake dentist on TikTok, scamming her patient out of thousands of dollars after performing a botched dental procedure that made the victim "dizzy", according to court documents.

Juanetta Solomon, 41, of Katy, Texas – aka "Tha_Toothly_Houston" on TikTok – faces charges of practicing dentistry without a license.

Authorities first began investigating Solomon of ISmilez Cosmetic Designz after a patient told police Solomon applied composite veneers and performed a bridge procedure "using a lot of pressure and chemicals that made her so dizzy that she had to ask the defendant to stop and give her a break," according to court documents, West Palm Beach News reported.

Solomon allegedly then used a "drill and file" to shape the teeth.

"Complainant stated she had trouble closing her mouth and asked the defendant to make them thinner because they are too big and uncomfortable," the documents read, the outlet reported.

Solomon allegedly charged $2000 for the fake procedure.

In the week that followed, the patient claimed a tooth fell out and they experienced bleeding, pain, and trouble sleeping. Solomon allegedly offered the patient a follow-up appointment, but they instead called police.

The Texas Board of Dental Examiners confirmed Solomon isn't licensed to practice dentistry, according to KTRK-TV and KHOU-TV.

At the time of the incident, she was out on bond after she was accused of shooting at her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend in July 2023, the outlets reported, citing court records.
