Grieving father Luis Moreno is breaking his silence on the Irondequoit slayings that claimed the lives of his daughter Marangely Moreno-Santiago, her husband, Fraime Ubaldo, and their two children in what he describes as "the worst day of my life."

Moreno is speaking out amid the search for the second suspect named in the brutal killings.

"Well, that was the worst day of my life," he says.

"There's two families that have been destroyed; it ain't just mine."

Investigators are looking for Luis Francisco Soriano—also known as Jeffrey—who they believe fled to Puerto Rico following the murders and arrest of his alleged accomplice and brother, Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano.

"It's sick, because I met that guy, that Jeffrey guy, two years ago when I went my first summer there," Moreno told WHAM13.

"My daughter would babysit his baby, and that guy was always there at Fraime's house, and he was like Fraime's brother."

In recent footage of a previous birthday gathering, Soriano can be seen celebrating at the home with the family of four.

"I'm always thinking of that night or that morning; I wasn't there to protect my daughter and protect my grandbabies. That's a pain inside me that's never going to go away," Moreno said.

Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano was arrested in early September and has been held in the Monroe County Jail, while his brother is currently on the run.

Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters revealed that the family has confirmed the two suspects are cousins with Ubaldo.
