Irondequoit police have identified a second suspect in the horrific slaying of a family of four.

With new details in hand, authorities are asking for the public's help in finding Louis Francisco Soriano, 31, who also goes by "Jeffrey."

Soriano is the brother of Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano, who was arrested on September 13 and arraigned on four counts of second-degree murder in connection to the brutal homicides.

Soriano is wanted on four counts of murder for the deaths of Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2.

The family's bodies were found in a fire at their Knapp Avenue home on August 31.

Julio Cesar Pimental Soriano, 34, who also goes by Rafael Jose Vargas, was identified through interviews with civilian informants and from video captured during the crime. He was taken into custody September 7.

Soriano, originally from the Dominican Republic, has been charged with four counts of second-degree murder.

The 34-year-old is allegedly wanted for another homicide in the Dominican Republic from 2019.

The elder Soriano had entered Puerto Rico illegally before obtaining fraudulent New York documentation and used the American ID to travel from PR to the US mainland.

A motive for the homicide remains unclear as the investigation is ongoing.
