Out on bond for a 2022 killing, an Alabama man now faces capital murder charges after a deadly Friday night shooting at a Bessemer gas station that left three men dead.

Raukeem Cunningham is charged with manslaughter in the February 2022 shooting death of Janiya Simmons.

On Monday, Jefferson County Circuit Judge David Carpenter revoked Cunningham's bond on the 2022 shooting case, according to AL.com.

This is the second time Cunningham's bond has been revoked in the case of the 15-year-old girl.

Cunningham is now charged with capital murder in the Friday night killing of Christopher Eddins, 25, Ronald Dixon Jr., 20, and Wesley Fowler, 40.

The shooting occurred at Citgo, a Bessemer gas station, shortly after 11:30 p.m. on August 30.

All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and a motive has yet to be released.

During a small vigil being held for the victims on Monday, another three men were allegedly shot at the same gas station.

Bessemer police Chief Michael Wood believes the shooting on Monday night is related to the triple homicide.

"It's definitely related to Friday night,'' Wood said, "and if I had to guess, it's because we... put capital murder warrants on their boy."
