Former Illinois Gov. George Ryan will be released to a halfway house in Chicago on Jan. 30 after spending five years in federal prison for corruption, according to a report.

The prosecutors in Jodi Arias' trial, the woman accused of killing her on-and-off again boyfriend in 2008, have rested their case after revealing evidence supporting their case that Arias is guilty of the murder.

Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, who led the city during Hurricane Katrina, was indicted on 21 felony counts, including wire fraud, bribery and money laundering.
