The Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson ruled to block Pennsylvania's six month old voter ID law on Tuesday. Judge Simpson's decision comes from the urging of the state's Supreme Court to rethink its recent ruling to uphold a new state voter ID law, which requires an eligible voter to present either a state or non-state drivers' license or government employee identification at voting ballots.

Newly released Arapahoe County District Court documents show that the alleged Colorado movie shooter, James Holmes sent a series of text messages to an unidentified fellow Ph.D. student. However, the content of the text has been redacted as well as the identity of the recipient.
