The butler of Pope Benedict XVI, Paolo Gabriele took to stands at Vatican courtroom on Tuesday and pleads not-guilty on charges of aggravated theft. Gabriele is being indicted for stealing and leaking papal documents to the press. He could face up to four years in prison if convicted.
The Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson ruled to block Pennsylvania's six month old voter ID law on Tuesday. Judge Simpson's decision comes from the urging of the state's Supreme Court to rethink its recent ruling to uphold a new state voter ID law, which requires an eligible voter to present either a state or non-state drivers' license or government employee identification at voting ballots.
