The manager of a Bojangles restaurant in Georgia faces murder charges after allegedly shooting an employee's father to death in the business' parking lot.

Maurice Evans, 25, was charged with murder in the shooting death of 43-year-old Dominique Goodman, KGNS reported. According to an arrest warrant cited by the station, Evans admitted to police that he had shot Goodman.

The shooting happened about 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 7, according to police.

Goodman's daughter worked at the restaurant and had called him after getting into a disagreement with Evans, the station reported. Family members told the station that Evans had been harassing Goodman's daughter.

KGNS reported that the two men had an altercation in the parking lot and that Goodman was shot and killed by Evans.

A relative of Goodman's told 11 Alive that Evans was waiting for Goodman in the parking lot.

"I guess her and the manager might have got into it or something like that, so she called her dad, which any child would do, and the dad came up there to see about his daughter," Marlene Lately told the station.
