A Kentucky man shot and killed his ex-fiancée and another man before turning the gun on himself during a shooting rampage.

Police say that Donald Bryant, 34, shot and mortally wounded Daylon Bradford, 33, Sunday night, Fox 19 reported. After that initial shooting around 11:20 p.m., Bryant and his ex-fiancée, Heaven Glisson, 24, went into a wooded area.

Police arrived and a SWAT team set up a perimeter as drones and a K-9 unit were used to search for them. Fox 19 reported that around 3 a.m. officers heard around eight gunshots. Bryant had shot Glisson to death and then turned the gun on himself.

Kristina Cochran, who is the grandmother of one of Glisson's oldest child, told Fox 19 that Bryant was the father of her youngest child. She said that Glisson had told her that Bryant was abusive.

"She was scared of him, and she told me that," Cochran told the station.
Fox 19 reported that court records confirm Bryant had a criminal history and that he was previously charged with assault.

According to Cochran, Glisson planned to get an emergency order of protection on Monday.
