"I would never in one million years (think) she would do this to my baby," Paris England, the victim's mother, told Fox News 2 shortly after the assault. "Even if you think you trust the person, you can't."
According to the station, Harris had locked Henderson and her own 1-year-old child in a bedroom so that she could smoke weed. When Henderson threw up on herself, Harris allegedly became enraged, throwing scalding water on Henderson before slamming her head against the bathtub.
Henderson's mother, Paris England, told clickondetroit she trusted Harris "wholeheartedly" before the incident.
"She was having a hard time. My baby is autistic, nonverbal," England told the station. "I think she got frustrated with her and her own daughter and she slammed my baby's head against the tub."
Last year, England set up a GoFundMe to pay for funeral costs. "Harmoni was so full of life. Love and laughter. Biggest smile u will ever see. any and everything will be accepted," the page states.
