A Florida man wearing an "I NEVER ARGUE" shirt was arrested and charged with battery following an argument, according to a report.

Daniel Murillo, 44, allegedly hit a woman following the dispute. Murrillo is facing a battery charge, according WFLA-8.

The pair were traveling together when they had car trouble. The pair had their car towed to an Econo Lodge, where they stayed for a few days, WFLA-8 reported. When they ran out of money, they began staying in the vehicle. Mounting frustrations led to an argument and a physical altercation, police said.

The station quoted a police report that stated the woman had multiple bumps and lacerations.

The irony of the shirt and the resulting fracas provoked strong reactions on WFLA's Facebook page.

"Someone must've let him borrow the shirt..." read one comment.

Another commenter thought there likely was more to the shirt: "The back says...But when I do, it's on!"

According to court documents posted to The Smoking Gun website, Murrillo told police that the victim had blamed him over their situation and threatened him. Murrillo told police that he had texted the victim's mother, which made the victim more irate and led to her punching him.

However, in the documents, police noted that the woman had several swollen bumps on the back of her head that appeared recent and a slight laceration to one of her knees. The injuries were photographed, and Murillo was arrested.
