A Florida teenager will spend 25 years behind bars for beating and raping a 91-year-old woman.

Jesse Stone, who was 14 at the time of the assault and is now 15, was charged as an adult, Fox 35 reported. Stone, who pled guilty, also got 30 years of sex offender probation, is required to register as a sex offender, and must attend anger management.

Police said that in June of last year, the 91-year-old woman awoke around midnight to someone in her home. The intruder beat her and raped her, Fox 35 reported. Police were later able to trace the attack to Stone through DNA.

Prosecutors stated that Stone had been watching pornography, specifically content involving the elderly, before the attack.

The woman knew Stone. He had mowed her grass for her, WESH reported. Stone was able to enter the home through an unlocked door. Once inside, he put a pillow over her face and began beating her.

The station reported that Stone's mother left him when he was 5-years-old and his grandmother has taken care of him since. In the aftermath of the attack, Stone's grandmother urged him to confess.

"I can't imagine why you would do that. I've been trying to wrap my head around it for the last hour," the woman said according to audio obtained by WESH. "She [the victim] didn't deserve that," she said. "I think you understand that. Right?"
