A motorcycle gang member in Texas gunned down a father and son and then demanded the nurse stop administering CPR on one of the victims because he allegedly wanted him to die, said police.
Romi Frentescu, 32, is facing two counts of capital murder in Saturday's shooting in the city of Eddy.
Frentescu is accused of killing Michael Morris, 38, and his 18-year-old son, Braxton Johnson.
In the affidavit obtained by KWTX, Frentescu and Morris reportedly had an intense ongoing feud.
On Saturday, around approximately 7:00 pm, Frentescu was working on his motorcycle in front of his home when Morris stopped his vehicle and gave him the middle finger.
As Morris drove off, Frentescu followed him to his home, and a fight soon ensued with Morris pulling out a switchblade knife at one point.
Frentescu claims someone in a GMC Sierra attempted to run him over, prompting him to hide behind a telephone pole to dodge being hit.
Furthermore, he told police that several people had jumped him, and as he lay on the ground, surrounded by multiple people, he fired a number of shots in self-defense, then called 911.
However, officers noted Frentescu had no visible injuries to his body, indicating he was ever in any fight.
"There are discrepancies with Frentescu's statement due to the trailer that the white GMC truck was pulling had fresh blood on the trailer tire and fender, making it likely that the GMC Sierra pulled up after the shooting had begun," authorities wrote in the report.
Neighbors told law enforcement officials they heard about five or six gunshots before witnessing a man running around with a gun.
A nurse who happened to be passing by found Morris bleeding and unresponsive and immediately began chest compressions.
Frentescu, dressed in a Cossacks Motorcycle Club vest, came up to the woman and told her to stop performing CPR.
She later told police she felt threatened by him while tending to the victim.
Paramedics pronounced Morris dead on scene and transported Johnson to an area hospital, where he later died.
"It is an unfortunate situation, and I think tempers flared and things got out of hand," said Bruceville-Eddy Police Chief Michael Dorsey.
The motorcycle gang member is currently being held at the McLennan County Jail on a $1 million bond.
