Horizon Zero Dawn is still a mystery to many, but the biggest question to date is when the release of the game will be. Simply put, the most recognizable facts that the fans may be looking at are still the only ones that can be held on to completely.

According to Game Transfers, two of the most enigmatic games of the generation were given a pleasantly assuring release date as of the moment, namely The Last Guardian and Horizon Zero Dawn. Each of the two games are slated for release later within the year, though no specific release date has been talked of yet.

As per Game Ranx, Sony themselves assured the fans that both The Last Guardian and Horizon Zero Dawn will be launched by the final quarter and will end the year with a bang. The reason behind the time frame is still unknown, but speculations claim that it will be to further develop Horizon Zero Dawn. Also, one theory states that it would be to avoid conflict against other high-caliber games being released by early and middle 2016.

Noted by Niche Gamer, so far, the most affirmative information for Horizon Zero Dawn are all about the game itself. Guerilla Games defined the title to be a post-apocalyptic rendition with a twist; the lack of man-controlled technology mixed with half-cybernetic creatures. It surrounds the story of female protagonist Aloy, an archer that treks on surviving the harsh technology-deprived world.

Other details that were disclosed by Guerilla Games include the possibility of the game not having a multiplayer when it first gets launched, as to keep the essence of Aloy's journey focused on. As above mentioned, no specific launch date was bestowed upon Horizon Zero Dawn yet, but it will join The Last Guardian in concluding the year with impact.
