Overwatch: Release date for Open Beta and game revealed; Pre-order perks detailed

Blizzard Entertainment's supposed first-person shooter Overwatch has finally disclosed some of the most important news to have for the awaiting fans. As a beta is now taking place, gamers will have plenty of rational time to prepare themselves for the inevitable great news that is in the form of Overwatch.

According to CNET, Overwatch is Blizzard Entertainment's seemingly triumphant attempt at a first-person shooter, setting aside the mishap that befell the aptly name project Titan which crumbled a few years ago. Simply put, Overwatch looks to be on the right track and as the fans of Blizzard count on the developer being magnificent with massive multiplayer online role-playing games, the title appears to be quite a contender.

The biggest question so far is when the said game will arrive the market and moreover, if an open beta is sure to arrive. As per Tech Times, Blizzard Entertainment confirms the official closed beta as now on-going, but fans will have to wait until May 5th for the open beta access. The particular open beta will run from the mentioned date until May 9th, however, those who pre-ordered the game will be able to grab hold of the access on May 3rd.

Now Gamer delivered that Blizzard Entertainment marked their calendars for a May 24th release for Overwatch, but there is a barrier that has been set for June 21st in case the game may have delays along the way. Surely enough, Overwatch is expected to release by the middle of the year according to Blizzard Entertainment.

Fans who look to gain access to the promised open beta should pre-order Overwatch by April 29th. The said purchase option will be made available on any platform and with it, there will be access on the game's official website.
