The Last of Us 2 News to Come After Uncharted 4 Release? Joel's Casting In Question

By

The idea of The Last of Us 2 has made fans completely hyped and thinking of what is to come. Given that Naughty Dog may be focusing on other things as of the moment, gamers can only guess further or check out some possible clues that could pertain to the fifth title.

Noted by MNR Daily, Naughty Dog has set aside ideas and possible news on the second installment foe the longest time. Since the game that the team seemingly be directing all their focus on is the releasing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, the hopes of The Last of Us 2 coming into fruition is quite weak.

According to Christian Today, rumors have circulated that The Last of Us 2 might be spoken of as soon as Uncharted 4: A Thief's End comes into the market. Even more intriguingly, the game is said to already be released on the exact release day in the form of a surprise, believing that Naughty Dog has worked on it long ago. None of the aforementioned theories have been pushed forward by the development team and all of such are simply to be taken as a grain of salt.

It was noted by The Bit Bag that in terms of story, The Last of Us 2 may have a lot on its plate but is still without a certainty. Fans gave the theory that Joel, the male protagonist from the first title, could no longer be in the second expansion, though some wish he would be sustained. Issues that further instigated the guess is the probability that Ellie will take on the new adventures on her own, as well as Nolan North's misunderstood claim that the team is surely working on a second title which he quickly took back.

Naughty Dog has not given their solid word that The Last of Us 2 will be pushed forward. The most confirmed title so far is the final chapter of Nathan Drake's series, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which is delayed again two weeks later on May 10.
