The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Expansion Offers Weapons, Quests and Bigger Maps Than Original; Plot Twist Discussed

By

The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion has proven itself to be quite a catch for the entire year. Though the said expansion seemingly follows the series, gamers are cordially informed that there will be more to the game than what was once seen from the original title.

According to Christian Today, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt set the standard way up for the coming expansions of the title. After the recent Hearts of Stone update, the time for Blood and Wine has come and CD Projekt RED officially announced what to look out for with the expansion.

As per Parent Herald, Blood and Wine was confirmed of having a release early this year, and the promise of a bigger, better set of contents has been given out. The Hearts of Stone expansion recently had a total gameplay time of over ten hours, whereas Blood and Wine is to have twice as much to play. Moreover, a more diverse, vast group of places will make their way as well; and rumor has it that it will even surpass the original. Lastly, there will be weapons, monsters and quests to anticipate for Blood and Wine.

Being the last expansion, as noted by The Bit Bag, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine has a different twist to take note of. CD Projekt RED stated that Geralt will be taken to a land wherein war has not yet struck, but holds a secret behind all the beauty and serenity. A new setting that takes away the protagonist from Skellige, Velen and Novigrad proves interesting, with a new map called Toussaint.

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine still does not have a solid release date for the time being but many expect the expansion to arrive during the first quarter. Stay tuned for further updates on CD Projekt RED's hit tile as it slowly makes its way to the public.
