Debby Ryan, one of Disney's biggest stars has some regrets for her actions that gave cops a reason to arrest her.  The "Jessie" star was taken into custody last week for drunk driving after her 2016 audi car crashed with a Mercedes.

According to KTLA, Ryan was driving her new car when it collided into a 2015 Mercedes.  The incident happened at the 3rd Street and La Brea Avenue on April 5.  When cops arrived at the scene, they conducted a field sobriety test which Ryan failed. She was arrested for felony DUI.  Ryan's blood alcohol test showed 0.11%, just over the 0.08% legal limit.

"Over the last few days I have had the chance to think about my actions, and I wish I had used better judgement. I recognize that I am a role model and have always worked hard to set a good example for my millions of fans. I am so sorry to disappoint everyone," Ryan wrote on Twitter.

The Mercedes' driver had an injury, but TMZ reported that Ryan had a good chance to lower her offense to a misdemeanor since the driver sustained only a minor damage. The cops also considered her sobriety test that was only slightly above the normal range. Ryan was out on a 100,000 bail on April 6 before 10 a.m. TMZ was first to report the Disney star's arrest.

LA Times reported that Ryan listed her job as a laborer when she was arrested by the cops.  She has appeared in the Disney Channel TV series "Jessie" since 2011.  Ryan is also known for her role in "The Suite Life on Deck," where she appeared for three seasons.

Ryan is facing two misdemeanor charges, including driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% or higher. However, the prosecutors didn't pursue the felony case against the actress. She is set to appear on May 2 for her arraignment.
