Super Bowl Champion And Denver Broncos Safety Shiloh Keo Arrested For DUI

Super Bowl champion and Denver Broncos Safety Shiloh Keo was taken into custody early Saturday morning in Idaho after authorities claimed that he's driving under the influence. Keo was booked in the Ada County Jail and has since bonded out for the DUI charge.

Keo was allegedly stopped by an Idaho trooper for a broken taillight at the milepost 4. He was driving alone during the incident. According to KTVB, the Denver Bronco backup failed a field sobriety test. He refuted to have a breathalyzer so authorities demanded for a blood alcohol test warrant. Keo was said in the detention cell after 2 a.m. and he was not seen in the jail roster suggesting that he paid a bond for his release.

"We're aware of the matter involving Shiloh Keo and are in the process of reviewing it," the Denver Broncos told NFL Media in a statement.

The former Idaho Vandals star who won a Super Bowl ring is a resident of Eagle, Idaho. The Denvers won over the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl. After winning the Super Bowl, he reportedly went back to his hometown as revealed by his Twitter post. Keo previously played for the University of Idaho before he entered in the NFL.

Keo is a special teams standout in Denver and is a backup safety. He joined Denver Broncos of the NFL in December after he left Cincinnati. The 28-year-old Idaho-born football player contributed much through the end of the regular season, Pro Football Talk NBC Sports reports. Keo also became part of Houston where he played from years 2011 to 2013. This offseason, Keo is presently a free agent.

Denver Broncos has yet to release their statement on the team's plan on the fifth-year-safety.
