"Gotham" Season 3 is set to return and will introduce Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith). The latest episode already introduced Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) who is in transformation to be the Joker.

According to a report in Heavy, Jerome's story concluded in the latest episode of "Gotham" Season 3 titled "Mad City: The Gentle Art of Making Enemies." It also got to introduce Edward Nygma who killed Oswald (Robin Taylor) in the episode.

The episode also had developed Batman's (David Mazouz) character as someone who does not kill because of justice. Edward Nygma's appearance is a hint for the upcoming episode of "Gotham" Season 3 to focus on the Riddler.

Movie Pilot reports that in the three seasons of "Gotham" all the villains have slowly been introduced. This gives way for the character of Bruce Wayne to evolve as Batman. The winter finale of the series had Nygma kill the Penguin. This sure is to be the start of the latter to be going around the city as The Riddler.

It is hinted that Nygma is going to be bringing in his alter ego to the game and will be a threat to the city in "Gotham" Season 3. A trailer of the upcoming episode hints of the Riddler to be visible in the show with his signature green suit.

Meanwhile, a report in Comic Book indicates that the promo trailer for the next episode of "Gotham" Season 3 is out. This is right after the winter finale of the series ended with the Joker bringing more chaos to the city. The teaser shows the Riddler in his suit but without the cane.

In fact, Cory Michael Smith teases that he wants to have a cane in the upcoming episode of "Gotham" Season 3. The series is set to return on April 24.
