Apple Inc. is speculated to be holding an event this coming March wherein various devices from the company are expected to make its first appearance. The iPad Air 3, iPhone 5se and the new generation of Apple Watches are believed to launch during the occasion.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple is planning to announce the newest family member of the iPad family during an event in mid-March. This device will be launched along with the 4-inch iPhone known as the iPhone 5se and a series of new Apple Watch models. The American company is believed to to hold the event during the week of March 14th.
Recently, Apple Inc. stated that the iPad sales have fallen significantly year-over-year, dropping 25% from the year ago quarter. The lack of an update to the most popular iPad Air line is basically one of the cause of slight drop of sales. With the iPad Air 3's release the company is expecting that it would take a big part in increasing iPad sales this year.
The upcoming iPad Air 3 is predicted to have a rear-facing LED flash to improve photos in low-light situations. It is also rumored to have additional speaker grills to better match the audio quality that the iPad Pro is offering. The American tech giant has also been testing versions of the 9.7-inch iPad panel that are compatible with the Apple Pencil.
Aside from the iPad Air 3, Morning News USA stated that Apple Inc. is also predicted to reveal a 4-inch iPhone this March called the iPhone 5se. This device is speculated to arrive featuring a curved cover just like the iPhone 6 and an exterior style just like the iPhone 5s. The iPhone 5se would also have NFC support for Apple Pay, A8 or A9 processor and 8MP primary camera. Although it will not be equipped with 3D touch, it might have Live Photos capabilities.
Know Your Mobile added that new smartwatch is also expected to launch during the upcoming Apple event. Dubbed as the Apple Watch 2, it will go on sale a month later after its release in March. The second generation of Apple Watch would certainly receive some enhancements and improvements according to the site. Tech enthusiasts could expect a thinner design, better battery life, new bands, more health sensors, and perhaps even a new round shape.
As always, these are just based on rumors since Apple Inc. remains tight-lipped about its future releases. With this, the above mentioned specifics are advised to be taken as a pinch of salt.
