MacBook Air 2016 Release Scheduled At WWDC 2016; Apple Laptop To Sport Thinner Body, Retina Display and More

By

Apple's MacBook Air 2016 is expected to make its first appearance during the Worldwide Developer's Conference 2016 which is scheduled on June. This upcoming laptop from the American tech giant will sport a thinner body, retina display and more.

According to GottaBeMobile, Apple Inc. could launch the much-awaited MacBook Air 2016 at the Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) 2016 that is most likely to happen in June, just like last year. It is currently the predicted time for the company to announce the new iOS 10 and OS X 10.12. The American tech giant could also include other devices that the company are already polishing as of the moment.

When it comes to specifications and features, Latinos Health stated that MacBook Air 2016 will be very promising. It will have a thinner frame and slimmer body which would make it the best laptop for people on the go.  The forthcoming device is also believed to sport a Retina display.

It was noted that Apple has launched a 12-inch MacBook last year with a resolution of 2304 by 1440. Though the new version will be featuring the same display technology, it will differ as it is slated to have Retina display this time.

While Haswell processor offers better efficiency over older models, this chipset is already behind the trend. With this, the MacBook Air 2016 will use one from Intel -- either the Broadwell or Skylake processor. The latter is Intel's latest processor that includes big upgrades to the chipset. It also gives better graphics and faster performance compared with its predecessor.

Tech enthusiast believes that MacBook Pro 2016 will arrive with a USB-C so it is also assumed for the MacBook Air 2016 to debut with the same feature.

A 15-inch MacBook Air is also expected to debut this year. As exciting as it sounds, many fans worry that the bigger size would affect its portability especially that MacBook Air has always been about small size.

Meanwhile, The BitBag reported that the MacBook Air 2016 may be tagged at around £399 or $610 in the US.

Although this information is just based on rumors and predictions, one thing is for sure, Apple Inc. will release the MacBook Air 2016 sometime this year. Fans will just have to wait for the company's word as to when exactly it will roll out its new product.
