‘xXx 3’ Updates: 3rd installment will feature 5 new faces for the franchise

Vin Diesel's Xander Cage will be back to the big screens as the actor hinted movie goers regarding the likely possibility and he never failed to tease them with the progress that the film has done. With this, 2 actors while 3 actresses are being eyed for the roles to the latest xXx film entitled The Return of Xander Cage.

One man marketing machine, Vin Diesel, continued in promoting the updates regarding his films in social media and he added another one with the latest film, XXX 3. According to Empire Online, rumours circulated online that two martial film actors are being considered for roles in the upcoming film as these are Jet Li and Tony Jaa. Both actors have been known for several works in the action genre for the past 10 years while Tony Jaa has been with Diesel in Fast and Furious 7. These two actors would be good addition to the franchise since the lead character is an extreme athlete that can give a good engagement fight scenes.

Moreover, not only guys were detailed in the update of the upcoming film as three actresses were being negotiated for a possible role with Xander Cage. The Hollywood Reporter claimed that three females have been rounded up as part of the female side in the film's cast. These individuals are reported to be Nina Dobrev, Deepika Padukone and Ruby Rose.

Regarding the actresses' credentials, the Cinema Blend shared information about them. According to them, fans have shared scenes with Nina Dobrev as she's been with vampire series, The Vampire Diaries, for some quite time now while Ruby Rose gets TV exposure through the Orange Is The New Black. Last on the list is Bollywood actress, Deepika Pakudona who's being recruited by Vin Diesel as a huntress with former relations to the lead character, Xander Cage.

XXX 3 is the third instalment of XXX series after a decade of silence. The film lead actor Vin Diesel released updates regarding the film's progress that entails about actors and actresses being considered for roles in the anticipated sequel. If deemed true, they will join Samuel L. Jackson and director D.J. Caruso wherein the expected release date of the film would be in 2017.
