‘Doctor Strange’ Updates: Latest photos for Benedict Cumberbatch’s film unveiled; Plot will lead to the Dark Dimension

Marvel just teased the fans with the forthcoming film, Doctor Strange, as they released the image of the latest concept art regarding the character. Moreover, rumours revealed that the plot might focus on the Dark Dimension from the comics.

Marvel Studios is right now on a movie spree after showing and filming movies, one after another. This 2016, Marvel is on another heights as they introduce the newest actor to play their Doctor Strange. According to St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Marvel Cinematic Universe is entering a new phase and this includes the star-power of Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange. The new actor was unveiled through the cover of Entertainment Weekly as the studios, Disney and Marvel, is pumping him up for the audience's excitement. Also, production about the film has just begun and there have been sneak peek photo where the fans can see Cumberbatch in the red cape with Doctor Strange's famous beard style.

After releasing the photo, new pictures were also revealed and some were concept art as posted by the Marvel Studios. In Radio Times report, new pictures and concept art for the Doctor Strange's Benedict Cumberbatch were uncovered. These include photos of the Strange's broken hands, Sanctum Sanctorum, Quantum Realm, and lastly, Benedict Cumberbatch in costume as Doctor Strange.

Since Doctor Strange will be the 14^th film instalment in the cinematic universe of Marvel, many have been speculating what the film can offer to the table. The Comic Book reported that the film could set a huge difference from the rest of other films that's under Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige of Marvel revealed in an interview that there are going to be glimpses about the Dark Dimension. Dark Dimension is the kingdom of Mhuruuks where powerful sorcerers are ruled by Olnar and home to Umar. These characters can be seen in Doctor Strange comic book series of Steve Ditko wherein Feige described the dimension as "very colourful."

The Doctor Strange would be the 14^th instalment in Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise that will include Benedict Cumberbatch as the lead hero. The film just started its filming and offered photos regarding the film's concept and progress. Moreover, the movie might be set and introduce the Dark Dimension from the comic book series of Doctor Strange. The upcoming superhero film is set to be released on November 4, 2016 in IMAX theatres.
