‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ is an upcoming action-adventure and fantasy film intended as a sequel to J.J. Abrams ‘Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens’ released last December 2015. The film’s original scheduled release date was for May 2017 but it was recently delayed to December. Director Rian Johnson is said to be rewriting the film’s current script.
