When James Holmes walked into the packed movie house in Aurora during the mid-night running of the Dark Knight Rises, he shot over 70 people, killing 12 and seriously injuring 59. On Monday, 24-year-old James Egan Holmes makes his first appearance in court after shooting down over 70 people at an Aurora movie theatre during a mid-night screening of the much awaited Dark Knight Rises, killing 12 and injuring 59. Holmes was arrested Friday morning and kept in solitary confinement at an Arapahoe County detention facility.
