First Couple Share Kiss at a Basketball Game

By

On Monday, President Barrack Obama shares a very public kiss with first lady Michelle Obama at a Basketball game between the USA National Team and Brazil at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. The couple was initially booed when they refused to kiss, but then the couple was featured on the "kiss cam," and daughter Alia, who was with her parents, was quick to point out that it was the tradition. Obama submitted and gave his first lady a big kiss as the crowds cheered.

The moment captures a rare care-free Obama. With the 2012 presidential elections nearing, the Obama administration has been under a lot attacks particularly on the nation's economic situation and high unemployment rates.

The Obama administration has also engaged in its share of political attacks on the Republican presidential nominee, recently pointing fingers at Romeny's reluctance to release his tax returns of over a year, particularly refusing to disclose his finances while he worked at the private equity company-Bain.
