Albert Woodfox, a former Black Panther member, who was released last month after a more than four decades of solitary confinement is filing a lawsuit arguing the cruel and unsula confinement. Woodfox was kept in solitary over the 1972 murder of a prison guard at the Louisiana State Prison.

Farmingdale State College in Long Island, New York went lockdown on Wednesday after a reported man with a rifle inside the campus. However, police authorities approached the subject and confirmed the said alleged rifle was a Star Wars lightsaber toy.

Eric Artrip, the representing lawyer for plaintiff said they both side agreed to a money settlement. Amount of money will not be disclosed to the public due to a confidential agreement. The lawsuit involves, a teenager who was used by a school worker as bait to catch a teen sexual assaulter in the act at a bathroom in Sparkman Middle.
