Ronald Wagenhoffer, a building inspector who approved construction at a four-story building that collapsed, killing six people last week, committed suicide, city officials confirmed on Thursday. Wagenhoffer was the last city official to check on construction at the building, and reportedly did not find any violations during his inspection on May 14.
