The state of Wisconsin has filed an appeal today in the hopes of lifting the ban to enforce the state's voter identification law, Bloomberg reported.

Oracle Corp argued in their appeal to revive a favorable 2010 verdict or new trial over the copyright claims against SAP AG that the data used to arrived at the $1.3 billion award were based on stimates about the infringed software's fair market value and the detailed financial information about the software's estimated earnings from both parties, Bloomberg reported.

Lawyer Lance Cooper on behalf of the remaining family of Brooke Melton, who died in a car crash linked to the defective ignition switch, has filed a new complaint urging a judge to revive a settled case, claiming that General Motors Co allegedly withheld information about the recall, Bloomberg said.
