Oran Routh, the son of would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh, allegedly had a falling out with his father prior to his recent child porn arrest.

Oran, 35, was taken into custody this week after authorities searched his North Carolina home "in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation" and found hundreds of files depicting child sexual abuse," stated an FBI agent in court papers.

Investigators who confiscated numerous electronic devices found videos as well as chats from a messaging app usually accessed by people who share child sexual abuse material, the FBI agent said.

He currently faces two charges of possessing and receiving child sexual abuse material and is expected to appear later Tuesday in federal court in North Carolina, according to The Associated Press.

His father, Ryan Routh has been charged with federal gun offenses in connection to the attempted assassination at Trump's Florida golf course earlier this month.

Prosecutors have revealed more serious charges could be coming.

Routh moved to Hawaii several years ago and was living with his longtime girlfriend, his son told The Daily Mail, adding he didn't know his father was even in Florida.

"He said he was at the beach, but I thought that meant the outer banks in Hawaii," he said.

"I didn't ask him for more information because we've had a falling out. We've grown apart."

Oran declined to comment on the nature of their falling out; however, he still showed support for his father.

'He's not a violent person,' he stressed.

"He's a hard worker and a great dad. He's a great dude, a nice guy, and has worked his whole f**king life."
