Newly released body cam footage from authorities reveals the tense moments leading up to the arrest of Ryan Wesley Routh, the man accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump, as officers ordered him to walk backward toward them with guns drawn.

The footage was released by the Martin County Sheriff's Office showing the arrest of Routh, 58 the suspect in the attempted assassination of Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course Sunday.

The footage, captured during Routh's apprehension on Sunday afternoon, was made public on Monday.
