In a troubling turn of events, Stuart Seldowitz, a former national security adviser under the Obama administration, faces charges of hate crimes. The 64-year-old Manhattan resident has been arrested following a series of Islamophobic encounters with a young food cart vendor in the city.

Footage of Seldowitz circulating on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, depicted several instances where he verbally abused the 24-year-old vendor at his workplace.
