‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Super Bowl Trailer Teases Secrets of the Past, 55-Second Extension to Follow

By

The Transformers franchise will have its next instalment in "Transformers: The Last Knight" which will answer the secrets of the past. The Super Bowl spot of the movie got the audience anticipation especially when a 55-second extension will be showcased on Sunday.

The next movie will be the revealing of the secrets behind the reason why the Transformers keep on going to earth, and how the war between the Transformers and human race will conclude. The movie will redefine the real meaning of being a hero, as the iconic protagonist across all the past movies Optimus Prime is seen to have become a villain.

On the initial trailers, Optimus Prime was seen attacking Bumblebee, another Autobot which was supposed to be an ally. However, the short movie teasers are somewhat implying that the Prime could be the main antagonist for the next movie, as mentioned by ScreenRant.

Going back on "Transformers: Age of Extinction," Optimus Prime went on a journey to find out the real reason why earth is being attacked by his fellow race and intends to end it once and for all. But with his absence, it seems that the earth have lost a formidable ally against the attacks of other villains like Megatron and other Decepticons.

Mark Wahlberg, Sir Anthony Hopkins, and Laura Haddock will form an alliance with Bumblebee in the movie to save the earth from attacks. An all-out war is seen on the trailer, so whoever the earth is going against is still under question, for now. The 55-second extension of the trailer that may give us more glimpse of what to expect can be watched on Sunday.

Michael Bay will direct the film, while the writers for the movie are Art Marcum of "Iron Man" and Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan of "Black Hawk Down," as reported by ComingSoon.
