The crazy scenes will never stop in 'Quantico' season 1 episode 14. Helpless Alex tries to find comfort from someone who she thought could understand her but didn't. Simon is still grappling with his new reality in the aftermath of what just happened previously.
Alex's life has never been easy. Last episode, Alex break down following the crazy events including the death of her former classmate and FBI agent Natalie at the hands of the mysterious terrorists. Episode 13 of 'Quantico' proved that the terrorist isn't messing around. The episode also breaks the hearts of the viewers seeing Alex's struggling.
That is why it is not surprising for Alex to talk and console someone she trusts. In 'Quantico' episode 14, Alex is going to the snowy mountains and look for Simon. He seems shocked seeing her. She quickly learns that he is still also coping with the events transpired before. He is not even getting better than she is.
According to showrunner Josh Safran, episode 14 is an incredibly tense and dark episode. As Safran puts to Entertainment Weekly, "It is an incredibly tense episode in which Alex and a certain somebody else involved in the terrorism angle of our story meet up and spend the entire episode discussing what has happened, how they've been used, how it's affected them, and it goes to some pretty dark places."
'Quantico' Season 1 Episode 14 also shows Simon pointing gun at her. He is also seen burning down the cabin. "I'm not innocent, Alex. I never was," Simon says.
In the flashback storyline, Enumerical News reports that NATS are engaged in defensive driving lessons. Tensions between several characters continue to rise. Drew and Ryan are be involved in an event that led to Drew's girlfriend death. Meanwhile, Nimah finally confronts Raina regarding her suspicious acts and secrets.
As per 'Quantico' episode 14 'Answer' synopsis: "The NATS take defensive driving lessons; shocking consequences follow Liam and Drew's clash; friends try to help Simon come to terms with new realities."
