Hitman: Title to Be Launched in Episodic Manner? Beta Expected on February 12

As Io Interactive's Hitman title is cordially preparing to launch in over a month's time, fans of the entire franchise may be putting a high bar for the game to reach. After the movie was made known to the public, it may be the game's turn to dazzle one and all on what the life of a triggerman brings forth.

According to Vine Report, the latest title under Io Interactive is expected to hit the stores early next month, and contains the promise of being a massive title in the sense of theme and coverage. The development team makes it a point that Hitman will establish the timeline of the series' past, present and future.

Noted by Game Spot, the Community Manager of Io Interactive Travis Barbour divulged some raw information regarding the game's plot, as well as their release plans and how players can pursue the action of the beta period even before the game comes into fruition. The more important factor to note, as Barbour says, is the decision that they have come regarding the game's further delivery, which is an episodic release.

N4BB delivered that one of the biggest influences and inspirations for the episodic approach is the way that television series do the same manner; making a teaser for the next season and let the excitement unfold along the way. Come February 12th, gamers can get their hands on a beta code by pre-ordering the Full Experience or the Intro Pack, as well as the Hitman Collector's Edition. The aforementioned packages will provide players free Blood Money Requiem Pack.

Hitman's official release date is set for March 11th, 2016. PlayStation 4 owners will gain exclusive access to The Sarajevo Six which is a six contract bonus that gives players a side-story mainly pinpointing the former members of a paramilitary unit known as CICADA. Keep posted for more news on Hitman.
