Lil Wayne pushes Lawsuit against Birdman despite friendly encounters in Miami

By

Lil Wayne and Birdman partied at Miami together. However, this doesn't mean the beef between them is over as Young Money sources said Weezy still plans to push through with his lawsuit against his father.

According to TMZ, Wayne still wants to pursue his demands, which are to release "Tha Carter V" and get the millions of dollars that Birdman owes him. The news source even reminded of Weezy's threat that if he would leave Cash Money, he would take Drake and Nicki Minaj with him.

Birdman is trying to fix their personal relationship before getting into business. Baller Status reported that when Birdman shared the LIV nightclub stage with Lil Wayne in Miami earlier this week, he said, "This my motherf*ckin' son and I'ma die for him, I'ma live for him, and I'll motherf*ckin' kill for him, ya heard me? That ain't gon' never change. It's YMCMB for life."

Vulture wrote that one year ago, Lil Wayne sued Cash Money Records and asked for $5 million, as well as a release from his contract. The lawsuit states that there are various financial misdeeds in the Cash Money Records business transactions and Lil Wayne wants to take his Young Money Entertainment business along with him as he leaves.

The feud between Lil Wayne and Birdman could be deeper than bottles thrown during concerts. Last April, Wayne's bus convoy was shot with bullets from a passing car in what seems to be a drive by on a highway outside Atlanta. The shooter was found out to be Young Thug, Lil Wayne's former manager who is now siding with Birdman.

However, the development in Miami last Sunday comes weeks after news of Wayne and Birdman having "strong feelings about burying the hatchet." Before their New Year's Eve reunion party in Miami, Wayne and Birdman hadn't been spotted together in public since the Weezy announced he plans to leave Cash Money.
