'Mr. Robot' Season 2 to Possibly Premiere by June; EP Says Show Could Run Up to Fifth Season

By

Show creator Sam Esmail finally reveals what fans should expect in "Mr. Robot" Season 2. He also stated that he plans to run the series for up to season 4 or 5. Apart from that, the 1st installment won two significant awards in the Golden Globe Awards 2015.

Series creator Sam Esmail discussed with IGN the plot details of "Mr. Robot" Season 2. Esmail states, "Season 2 is going to be about Elliott Alderson (rami Malek) really negotiating with himself. I mean, look, the show's about a guy who becomes aware of the delusion he's been having.

That's a tough pill to swallow. And we are really going to go into the mind of a person who just has become aware of that and what is the next step to that. How do you reconcile that? Will twists organically derive of it? I don't know. I would probably -- If I were a betting man, I would say yes."

In addition, Esmail has confirmed that fans should expect "Mr. Robot" to run for at least 4-5 installments on USA Network. The only struggle he is dealing with is the duration of every episode they release, Vine Report has noted.

In related news, the season premiere of "Mr. Robot" has won two significant categories in the Golden Globe Awards 2015. The show was hailed as the best television drama series. Lead actor Christian Slater (as Mr. Robot) has won as the best supporting actor in a TV series and Rami Malek was nominated under the category of best performance by an actor in a TV series, as reported by BGR.

As of now, the official scheduled launch for "Mr. Robot" Season 2 has not been released yet. However, speculations suggest that the series will air around June or July 2016 exclusively on USA Network. "Mr. Robot" is an American drama-thriller TV series created by Sam Esmail.
