'The Voice' Season 10 premieres Feb. 29; Christina Aguilera returns, Gwen Stefani out?

Christina Aguilera is affirmed to return to judge in "The Voice" Season 10, however, this result to a conflict towards Gwen Stefani who wants to keep her position to be with her new beau co-judge Blake Shelton. That said, NBC president Paul Telegdy talked about the possibility of having 2 female coaches this season. Elsewhere, season 9 winner just got engaged.

Christina Aguilera officially comes back as coach in the 10th installment of "The Voice". However, the return of the 35-year-old Grammy award-winning resulted to a conflict with co-judge Gwen Stefani. According to Korea Portal, Stefani is desperate to keep her position and has no plans to exit the show due to her recent relationship with fellow judge Blake Shelton.

With that being said, NBC Entertainment president Paul Telegdy discussed with E! Online about the possiblity of having 2 female coaches in "The Voice" Season 10 for the very first time.

Telgedy stated, "We don't know yet. We know what we're doing in the spring, because the diva's back, Christina's coming back, and for the fall, we've got the Olympics, so I would only tease that yes. there will probably be some familiar faces. As I say, we like to switch it up, so I think there will be some fresh faces too.

I think it's about the right mix, and that's a party I'd love to be invited to if I was in any way musically talented. It's a machine, so finding the right combination would lead us down that path."

Other than that, "The Voice" Season 9 grand champion Jordan Smith is officially engaged to girlfriend Kristen Denny. Movie News Guide reports that Smith proposed to his girlfriend last New Year's Eve.

"The Voice" Season 10 is scheduled to return on February 29, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on NBC. "The Voice" is an American reality TV singing competition directed by Alan Carter, created by John de Mol and executively produced by Mark Burnett. The show is based on "The Voice of Holland".
