‘Charlie’s Angels’ is an upcoming reboot of the original crime drama television series from the 1970s. Elizabeth Banks is attached to helm the new film after the success of her directorial debut ‘Pitch perfect 2’ and transitions from acting to filmmaking. Banks may be pushing for a hard R-rating for the upcoming remake.
‘Predator 4’, otherwise known as ‘The Predator’, is an upcoming science-fiction horror film intended as a reimagining of the original 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It will be released on March 2, 2018. ‘Lethal Weapon’ director Shane Black is set to helm the new film and is co-writing the screenplay with Fred Dekker.
‘X-Force’ is an upcoming live-action adaptation of Marvel’s fictional superhero team of the same name. Ryan Reynolds' infamous mutant Deadpool may feature in the new Marvel film as well as future films in the ‘X-Men’ franchise. Fox recently pulled out ‘Gambit’ and put in place two yet untitled films speculated for ‘X-Force’ and ‘Deadpool 2’.
‘John Wick 2’ is an upcoming action-thriller film intended as the sequel to Chad Stahelski and David Leitch’s critically acclaimed film of the same name. It is officially named ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’. It is set to be released on February 2017 and will compete against other potential blockbuster hits including ‘Fifty Shades Darker’.
