Dana Shepherd, 52, was arrested in Columbia, Missouri, in connection with the 1993 killing of 19-year-old Carmen Van Huss, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced Tuesday.
The 21-year-old gymnast and college senior was allegedly shot to death Friday in her off-campus apartment in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Mason Schermerhorn, 14, Christina Irimie, 53, and Richard Aspinwall, 39, were also killed, when 14-year-old alleged gunman Colt Gray fired off several rounds from an AR-platform-style weapon, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The Boy Scouts Middle Tennessee Council said the camper was part of a National Guard family and was participating in the Tennessee National Guard's annual Youth Development Week.
