Early Friday morning, Colorado police arrested James Egan Holmes, after he opened fire at a midnight screening of the "Dark Knight Rises" in an Aurora movie theatre. The 24-year-old entered the packed movie house opened fire, shooting sporadically all around killing 12 people and injuring 70.
James Egan Holmes, the Colorado shooter who was arrested for opening fire in an Aurora theatre during the showing of the “Dark Knight Rises” killing 12 and injuring 59, announced himself to be “the joker, the enemy of Batman,” according to NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly. Holmes painted his hair red to resemble the Joker.
On Friday, Apple new iPad was released in stores after the announcement came earlier this month. Unfortunately, a frenzied public did not rush into Apple stores. In fact, Huffington Post reported "The 30 customers in line when the store opened were outnumbered by the reporters watching them."
On Friday Viacom Inc. and Direct TV have reached a settlement that will return popular shows such as Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show," "Jersey Shore," "Dora, the Explorer," and many more to over 20 million viewers who denied viewership over contract issues between the two companies.
