Bangalore Joint Commissioner of Police Hemanth Nimbalkar denied having jurisdiction in the matter when he said his department aided district police in arresting 24 year-old student Sayed Waqar over a complaint about his alleged offensive message of newly-elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, The Times of India said.
