Comedian-actor Katt Williams is being held in custody after an altercation at a restaurant in Atlanta. According to the authorities, the actor threw a salt shaker at the manager of the said establishment.

East Point Police received a call reporting actor Katt Williams was involved on a fight at the Spondivits restaurant on Wednesday, Captain C.R. Chandler has confirmed according Alabama.com. It was allegedly 10 in the evening when the actor threw a salt shaker at the restaurant manager that left him bleeding in the upper lip.

Williams was arrested at a Waffle House restaurant near the said restaurant. Police officers charged him of battery and booked him to East Point Jail. He later posted a bond and was released on Thursday. His representing lawyer, Drew Findling, says he would personally conduct an investigation and talk to people who saw the incident for his client's defense.

This wasn't the first time Williams was arrested around Atlanta and faces legal troubles. According to MStars News, the actor was also arrested and charged with battery for throwing a punched to a pool supply store employee in February this year.

Several days after the said incident, he was in custody again for assaulting and threatening to kill his bodyguard. He was also sued by five female accusers over assault allegations as well as for stealing personal things from them.

Williams was recently involved on a fight with 17-year-old, which became a major topic, after a video of their fight was uploaded on the internet. He was later arrested also for the said incident. According the Daily Mail, his latest arrest was his fourth time in custody in two months.

Back in 2006, Williams was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm, burglary and criminal trespass, felony intimidation of a witness, assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, and multiple other assaults.
