Sian Blake's partner Arthur Simpson-Kent arrested in London after arriving from Ghana

Actress Sian Blake's partner, Arthur Simpson-Kent, was arrested in London as suspect for the death of the actress and their 2 children. An investigation is also underway on the reason why it took several days before the bodies of the victims were found.

As reported by Independent, Simpson- Kent was detained by the Metropolitan Police in Heathrow Airport after he arrived from his flight from Ghana. He came back to UK after he was extradited from Ghana and was taken to a west London Police Station soon after arrival.

Simpson-Kent's innocence in the case of the death of his family is currently in question after he fled the country a couple of days after Blake and her two sons were declared missing. According to BBC, Simpson-Kent was found in Ghana beach several days after the victims' bodies were found.

Sian Blake and her sons, Zachary and Amon, who were 8 and 4 years old respectively, were found buried in the garden of their house in Erith, Kent. Per Huffington Post, the bodies were found more than three weeks later on January 5. The victims were declared missing on December 13, 2015.

Post-mortem reports of the victims' body suggest that they suffered and died from neck as well as head injuries. An investigation is currently on going for the Metropolitan Police regarding the way Blake's case was handled.

Blake's family home was only thoroughly searched after the murder squad detectives stepped into the case in early January. An investigation on how Blake's and his sons' disappearance was handled by the police and why it took more than three weeks before their bodies were finally found in their own home.

Sian Blake suffered from a motor neurone disease before her death. She played the role of Frankie Pierre in the tv show EastEnders in 1996 and 1997.
