On December 2, 14 people were killed by a shooting carried out by a couple in San Bernardino, California. While terrorist group, Isis, has expressed their praise on the said attack, they revealed that they were not in any way behind it.

Islamic terrorist group, ISIS, has praised the gruesome work of Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik for killing 14 people and injuring 22 more in the attack that took place in San Bernardino, California. The attack, which consisted of a mass shooting and an attempted bombing, intensified the American outrage for the said jihadi group.

In the group's latest issue of its English magazine, Dabiq, Isis expressed its praise on Farook and Malik, commending the pair for their operation "for the sake of responding to Allah."

"[They] proved that they were willing to sacrifice what is dearest to them for the sake of responding to Allah, for not only did they leave behind their comfortable lifestyle, but prior to their operation, they left their baby daughter in the care of others knowing that they likely wouldn't see her again in this life," wrote the Islamic group through its magazine, as reported by The Guardian.

While there is much praise from the group, ISIS did not credit Farook and Malik as ISIS fighters. Instead, they used the pair's actions as a way to attract similar attacks from people who are not affiliated to the group.

According to The Huffington Post, Malik repeatedly expressed her adoration to the terrorist group, as shown in several Facebook posts by an account under his alias. There were no messages or direct orders traced directly from the group going towards her account and vice versa.

"We do hope that the digital fingerprints left by these two individuals will take us to their motivation, said David Bowditch, the chair of the attack's investigation, in a post.
