'One-Punch Man' Season 2 Not Yet Confirmed; Manga Series Cancellation Looms?

Anime creator Yuusuke Murata broke the news on Twitter last December and revealed that he is doing his best to finish "One-Punch Man" Season 2. The first volume of the manga series even earned a top 3 spot on the Nielsen BookScan's top 20 list. Speaking of the 2nd installment, the rumored plot for the premiere episode has been revealed.

Anime creator Yuusuke Murata admitted on Twitter last December that he is doing his best just to release a 2nd season for the loyal fans and viewers of "One-Punch Man". Murata stated that he will work hard just to make an upcoming season possible. The illustrator has added that the upcoming season is not yet confirmed  Youth Health Mag has mentioned.

In more more,  Anime News Network reports that the first volume of "One-Punch Man" has earned the top 3 spot on Nielsen BookScan's top 20 list for December. The 2nd and 3rd volumes of Yuusuke Murata's manga series placed 12th and 15th on the same list. The BookScan's top list is based on the book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases sales worldwide.

As for the speculated plot for Season 2 premiere episode, Cross Map notes, "Lord Boros has managed to counteract the punchers of Saitama and because of the regenerative capabilities, he will be able to counteract Saitama successfully. This made the fight a tie, however, Saitama will be able to clobber Boros into dust using his most powerful punch called serious punch. During the same episode, a new villain shall arise in the form of Amai Mask."

As of now, the official scheduled launch of "One-Punch Man" Season 2 has not been released as of yet. However, speculations suggest that the manga series will air around November or December 2016.

"One-Punch Man" is an ongoing Japanese web comic tv series created by an author using the pseudonym ONE and illustrated by Yuusuke Murata.
