Chelsea manager charges FIFA for 'bad organization,' fixed scheduling, poor pitches allegations at World Cup

Another football team figure has stepped up and slammed FIFA for its unacceptable soccer tournament practices. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho recently claimed that FIFA is badly organized, and that the world soccer body was inconsistent with their match scheduling and pitches at the 2014 World Cup, Daily Mail reported.

The Portuguese' point of contestation is the scheduling of the matches of the Group G teams, and said that teams from the same group should not play their final matches having had an extra day of rest. Germany and Ghana were able to play their second group match a full 24 hours earlier than Portugal and USA, but the teams' final games in Group G are slated for Thursday, he said. On the other hand, Mourinho believes that there is really no malicious intent with the scheduling issues, and blamed it due to FIFA's 'bad organization.'

Speaking as Yahoo's Global Football Ambassador, Mourinho stated, "That situation of 24 hours more from one team to another team that have to play the third match now, like is the case of our group with Portugal and the US, is FIFA trying to protect Germany and Ghana, and not Portugal and US? 'I don't think so. I think it's just bad organization. So, I prefer to go in that direction."

FIFA has recently been slammed with match-fixing allegations, and have already launched a probe on charges that its own and Ghanaian Football Association officials have indulged in match-fixing involving the Ghana national team for a price.

On the other hand, Daily Mail said Mourinho found the World Cup matches sub-par based on his personal experience watching the tournament.

He expounded further and said, "When I look to the matches, there is one that is clear in my eyes, which is the bad quality of the pitch.Almost every pitch has not the best qualities to play high quality football. And for me, in this moment, I am not a coach involved in the tournament. I'm just somebody that is in front of the screen trying to enjoy the best football, is something that I don't think is acceptable at that level. The pitches are not the best."
